Product Description :

This large silver gryphon necklace captures the fierce elegance and storied power of a legendary creature revered for centuries across cultures. At its center is a Tibetan silver rampant griffin, its wings unfurled and claws extended mid-motion, as though guarding some ancient secret. The creature is framed against a diamond-shaped, textured background that evokes the rugged stone and metalwork of old-world craftsmanship, giving the pendant a sense of history and mystique.

Measuring approximately 1-3/4 inches tall by 1-1/4 inches wide, the pendant strikes a perfect balance between bold presence and refined design. An attached jump ring, not shown, adds an extra approximate 4mm to the pendant’s total height, allowing it to hang gracefully from a silver-plated chain that fastens securely with a lobster clasp closure. Whether layered or worn as a standalone statement piece, this griffin necklace is built for both comfort and style.

To wear a gryphon is in some circles used to channel a force of duality: both regal and wild, protective and unyielding. It is a reminder of inner strength, fierce loyalty, and the timeless battle between power and purpose. This large gryphon necklace is made with all lead- and nickel-free materials, the necklace offers comfort without compromising on detail or durability. Sold individually.

Gryphon Symbolism | Griffin Folklore
In European bestiaries the griffin is usually portrayed as awesomely fierce. This magnificent creature was thought to dwell in the mountains, from which it swooped down on its prey. With its powerful talons the beast could carry back to its nest a horse and rider — it was said to have a ravenous appetite for both. Sometimes, griffins were themselves used for transport by the Gods; the chariot that bore Nemesis, the Greek Goddess of Vengeance, was frequently drawn by griffins.
