Enjoy traditional Resin Scents? -- This Herbal Salve is made from
fresh, ethically wild-harvested pitch of Piñon Pine trees (Pinus edulis)
in a Base of Organic Olive Oil (Olea europaea) with a touch of Organic
Jojoba Oil accented with Pure Essential Oils of Frankincense (Boswellia
carterii) and Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha).
This is one I use often while Meditating as a 3rd Eye Balm and on minor cuts and bruises.

Pinon
Pine -- Not only does it smell lovely, but Piñon Pine Pitch has been
used by Native Americans for generations to heal and soothe the skin --
It has be used externally on scrapes, sores, minor burns, bug bites,
Eczema, diaper rash, for arthritis relief, and to draw out splinters and
other foreign objects. Piñon Pines (Pinus edulis) grow only in the
Southwestern United States and Mexico. The pitch used is self-collected
in the Mountains of New Mexico while rock-hounding. No Trees were harmed
in the collecting of this Pitch.
Frankincense Oil --
Frankincense was considered one of the most prized possessions in
ancient biblical times, as it was considered valuable enough to be given
as a gift to Christ after his birth. Frankincense was also used during
religious ceremonies for salves for soothing skin and perfume. The
perfume or aroma that Frankincense emits is widely used to promote
feelings of peace, satisfaction, relaxation, and overall wellness. In
skin-care, Frankincense Essential oil is considered one of the best oils
to help skin feel and look rejuvenated -- When applied topically or
inhaled, it can make the scars and after marks of acne on the skin fade
at a much faster rate (includes the fading of stretch marks, surgery
marks, and fat cracks associated with pregnancy and delivery of
children).
Myrrh Oil -- Due to its highly aromatic nature,
myrrh has been used since ancient times for medicine, perfumery,
incense, religious purposes, and burials. One of the primary
sesquiterpene ethers in Myrrh oil is commonly added to skin care
products because of its ability to improve the appearance of skin. Myrrh
Essential oil is highly valued in aromatherapy as a sedative,
antidepressant and as a promoter of spiritual feelings.

salve makes an excellent moisturizer for dry skin and is popular with
both men and women because of its wonderful scent. -- In addition to
being used as a healing salve for minor skin complaints, this salve can
be worn as a natural solid perfume on pulse points and/or used as a
mustache/beard/hair conditioner.
Made from 100% organic
ingredients and handcrafted with care. This product is available in a 1
oz. screw top tin for easy access. Please be aware that with anything
handmade and completely organic (no preservatives) there may be slight
color and texture variations. Below I have listed the ingredients in
this salve.
Ingredients: Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil,
Wildcrafted Piñon Pine Pitch, Local Organic Jojoba Oil, Local Beeswax,
Frankincense Essential Oil and Myrrh Essential Oil.
NOTE : This Salve is one that is Not Recommended for Pregnant Women or those who are Breast-feeding.

Directions:
With clean hands apply a small amount of salve to yourself, someone
else or to ceremonial or ritual items (such as candles). For external
use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes. Piñon Resin Salve
is not meant to be a replacement for medical attention if/when
necessary. As with any product, in the rare case that irritation occurs,
please discontinue use.
* Due to the ingredients of the salve,
please do not leave in hot conditions or in the direct sun. If shipped
during the summer months, the salve will be shipped in a plastic bag due
to possible melting. If the salve melts, just place it in a cool area
and it will solidify again - this will NOT change the healing properties
of the salve. I carry mine in my rock-hounding/survival-pack and/or
purse in a zippy plastic bag just in case.
