Wire Wrapped Shiva Lingam Stone Necklace -- A fabulous unisex piece! The Shiva Lingam is a sacred stone in the Hindu culture. Shiva Lingam stones are found at the Narmada River in India. Their colors vary, but they are all a tan color base with various brown, red or grey stipes, spots or patches on the stones. These are natural stones that are hand polished and shaped by the people who live in this area.

This sensual pendant represents the Tantric principles of duality. Each stone has sacred markings said to represent the markings on Lord Shiva's head. Shiva Lingam are also considered a powerful aid in the activation of the Kundalini -- Lingam is the sacred Sanskrit word for phallus.
