Spiral Wire Wrapped Selenite Necklace -- Cut and Polished Selenite Single-Terminated Flat-ish Obelisk-style Gemstone Points wrapped to create Lovely Pendants. Also very useful as a Portable Pendulum!

SELENITE - Selenite is named for Selene, Greek Goddess of the Moon because of its moon-like glow. The word Selenite comes from the Greek 'selenites', meaning moon stone or moon rock, with the root word 'Selene' meaning Moon. The mineral Selenite is the near transparent and colourless crystal form of Gypsum that exudes a pearly lustre which glows and can very much resemble the moon. Selenite is formed through the evaporation of salt water from the ancient seas. Its essence as salt resonates with our own salt water bodies in the most primal fashion. It resonates with all human beings. Selenite is striated (the long fibrous lines running along the length of the crystal) and channels high energy through the crystal from the sun and other sources of light. It is Great for use with Angelic Beings and is a Calming Stone which makes it great for Meditation as well. It also has a strong connection to the Crown Chakra, and is widely used as an Aura Cleanser.

These Wire-Wrapped Selenite Pendants are available alone or on an 18-inch or 24-inch Necklace Chain. Each Selenite Wand is unique because the stones are all natural and not man-made. Each Selenite Point is at least 58mm (approx 2-inches) long by approx over 3/4" wide by just under 1/4" thick. Overall they measure approximately 2-1/2" to over 2-3/4" bailed.
