About Bronzite
This natural metallic brown gemstone gets its name from the Greek word for 'resistor' because it doesn't melt easily. Bronzite beads are rich in iron with a metallic luster resembling Tiger Eye, but shimmers like Pyrite. The shimmery, earthy brown finish of bronzite makes it one of our customer-favorites. Our Bronzite beads are a wonderful chocolate-brown color with metallic areas that make bronzite a very interesting and unique designer stone. It is said Ancient Romans used to grind Bronzite into powder form to use as protection against mental illness and confusion, and as an effective treatment to strengthen the nerves.
