{ SOLID COPPER - COPPER CARE }
This Pendant was cast using Solid Raw Copper -- Copper is a soft metal, and can bend easily. Be sure to handle your copper jewelry carefully, and care for it properly in order to maintain its beauty. Over time, copper will develop a patina and darken into a warm brown color. Copper tarnishes easily, but there are simple home remedies to polish -- use anything with a high acidic content such as lemon juice, tomato ketchup, or even Worcestershire sauce! Items should be polished CAREFULLY! When you have achieved the desired cleaning, run clear water over the jewelry to rinse, and then pat dry with a towel. Be sure to remove any copper jewelry before you wash your hands, do any cleaning or go swimming. The moisture will cause the copper to tarnish. Remove the copper pieces before you apply any hand cream, lotions or perfume. The chemicals in these products can damage the copper. Remove your jewelry before you go to bed, to prevent any accidental bending while you are sleeping.
