Heartstone Oval Alligator Jasper Beads - Alligator Skin Jasper is a natural gemstone from South Africa. Beautifully patterned in shades of green and grey-green. The heart of this gemstone is more grey-blue-green in natural color. These oval-shaped beads measure approx 18mm x 13mm x 5mm (thick), and have an average count of 23 beads per industry standard strand. Natural Alligator Jasper Beads - Alligator Skin Jasper is a natural gemstone from South Africa - the deposit's founder named this Kambaba form Alligator Jasper to distinguish from Crocodile Jasper from Madagascar. Beautifully patterned in shades of green and grey-green. We received quite the education from one of the stone's founders at the Tucson Gem Show. Due to reactions by the elements, the outer section of this gem stone material is naturally more green in color, whereas the inner heart is more grey-green in color. Fascinating!
