Tea Tree Essential Oil
Latin Botanical Name - Melaleuca alternifolia
Method of Extraction - Steam Distilled
Country of Origin - Australia

Tea Tree Oil is an anti-fungal healing oil and is the essential oil steam distilled from the Australian plant Melaleuca alternifolia. Tea Tree Oil contains over 100 chemical components.

Aromatherapeutic Uses:
Antiseptic, Anti-Viral, Anti-Fungal, Immuno-Stimulant, Anti-Bacterial, Anti-Inflammatory.

Other Uses:
Acne, athlete's foot, candida, chicken pox, cold sores, colds, corns, cuts, flu, insect bites, itching, migraine, oily skin, ringworm, sinusitis, sores, spots, urethritis, warts, whooping cough

CAUTIONS: Though most sources say to use "neat" (undiluted), Tea Tree Oil should not be used without dilution. Most aromatherapists, and others in the realm of essential oils will NOT tell you this. However, using ANY essential oil undiluted, can increase the risk of becoming sensitized (or allergic) to the oil.
