Latin Botanical Name - Cymbopogon martinii
Method of Extraction - Steam Distilled
Country of Origin - India
Palmarosa was once known as Indian Geranium or Turkish Geranium
oil. It was once shipped from Bombay to ports of the Red Sea and
transported, partly by land, to Constantinople and Bulgaria, where
the oil was often used for adulteration of True Bulgarian Rose
oil.
Aroma Description: Fresh, floral, sweet. Palmarosa oil is similar
in scent to Geranium Oil, and it is sometimes mistakenly sold
as Rose Geranium.
Other Uses: Acne, dermatitis, eczema (dry and wet, oozing), scars,
wrinkles, regulates sebum, hydrates and calms the skin. Great
TX for morning fatigue & irritability, nervous tension, stress
related disorders.
