Neroli Essential Oil
A.K.A. - Orange Blossom Essential Oil

Country of Origin - Tunisia
The bitter orange tree yields both neroli and petitgrain essential
oils. The Neroli tree got its name from Neroli Italy. The origin
of the name Neroli is uncertain. One belief is that it was derived
from the name of Emperor Nero. The most popular belief is that
it came from Anne-Marie, Princess of Nerola, wife of an Italian
prince who lived in the 16th century. She used it to perfume her
gloves and bath water. Her glove perfume became very popular and
gloves scented with it were known as "guanti neroli".
Neroli is one of the most expensive essential oils because it
takes 1 ton of petals to produce only 1 kg of oil.
Neroli is classified by Aromatherapists as a hypnotic and a euphoric.
It is used for anxiety, depression and stress. It is said to be
soothing to highly emotional states such as hysteria and shock.
Aromatherapeutic Uses: Anti-depressant, sedative, soothing, restorative,
uplifting, unifying. Neroli is ideal for the emotionally intense
and anxiety ridden. With its regulating action on the nervous
