Lavender oil has been popular since ancient times, and has a wide
variety of uses. Taking its name from the Latin lavare, meaning
"to wash," lavender possesses a clean, pure aroma. And,
like an adaptogen, it encourages balance for the entire nervous
system. Lavender is one of the most versatile essential oils on
the market, with its wide variety of uses for infants, children
and adults alike. Lavender essential oil is considered a Staple
Oil for aromatherapists.
Lavender 40/42 has the most floral scent of all the Lavenders,
though it’s therapeutic levels are the lowest.
40-42 refers to the standardization of both Linalool and Linalyl
acetate (40/42% Ester) resulting in a very consistent floral scent.
Also Used for: Arthritis, Insomnia, Athlete's Foot, Ulcers, Burns,
Acne, Inflammation, Psoriasis, Shock, Headaches, Gastric Upset,
Eczema, Dermatitis, Fainting, Insomnia, Migraines, Nausea, Bacterial
